Ok folks new th the Elder Scrolls games in general and needed a new game to play so thought that I would give the Elder Scrolls IV 5th Anniversary Edition a try to see if I like it and figured for $30 bucks it's not bad as it came with 2 DLC's

Now my current System consists of:

EVGA X58 3x SLI Mobo
I7 2.66 mhz processor
6 gigs of tri channel ram
VisionTek ATI Radeon HD5670 graphics card
47" LG HD flat screen t..v.

Now the game is fully installed on the F:\ drive along with my other games The Witcher 1&2 Dragon Age 1&2 Neverwinter Nights etc. I don't have any patches or mods installed except for the 2 DLC's for which game with the game Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine.

The propblem for which I'm having with ES IV is the fact that when I try to run it in full screen the game won't load at all. It will start to load and than I get an error message that states that Oblivion has stopped working and the system freezes and I have to hit the reset button to get it back up. It will run in window mode but it's only in an 8 x 8 size screen or so. I let the game detect the graphics settings. All other games for which I've got installed will run full screen without any problems at all. I've tried installing the game twice with the same thing happening both times.

Any help suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Are you trying fullscreen on your native monitor resolution?
