I hope "named" dead bodies never disappear

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 11:58 am

When i asaassinate people living in their home, and place their bodies in a funny way (i did this to every fighters guild house in oblivion;except essential ones of course. I placed all their bodies on a pile and i came back a dy later they were gone). I want to see their bodies from day 1 to day 100. I don't want to see them disappear. If it causes too much memory space or something please make their disappearance more realistic. Have a gravestone next to their house with their name on it, as if someone found their dead body and did the work.
Minor annoyances when trying to RP.

I sure don't want dead folks littering up my game world. I like how they were buried in Shivering Isles.

I'd prefer clean streets and houses that get sold and re populated, to say the truth...

It's been awhile since I played Shivering Isles. How were the dead bodies handled? I don't remember noticing a difference? I hope that their is some way to dispose of corpses. Dead bodies hanging about in Oblvion just became comical.

I'd like a mix of Morrowind's "dispose of the body" function (man, that was cool) and the Shivering Isles graveyard thing.
Though I'm not sure how it would be pulled off...maybe you get a letter from a gravekeeper?

"Hello *Player Name*,
If you ever need a body disposing of, just contact me with the enclosed spell and I'll take care of it for only 50 septims.
It's getting mighty lonely at the graveyards."

I agree, i've had loads of fun messing with dead bodies in fallout and oblivion. I remember in fallout NV when Goodsprings was under attack by powder gangers, I killed them all, and set two of them on the chair outside the bar, and the rest on the bench. Easy Pete had no idea what was going on.

It would be cool if they did decompose and only disappear if they have no more items on them; or perhaps just have the no disappearing bit unless they are empty.

I hope for the same. And let's get some variation on the under garments. Im sick of all the dead bodies looking exactly the same.

Wait...I never played Shivering Isles. Were the bodies actually discovered, and buried in RT. Could you actually see the process? (Cause that'd be awesome  )

Were all the dead bodies in SI buried in one graveyard? Or were homeowners buried next to their home and such?
(Never played SI)

I'd be cool with this if the Fallout 3 GOTY edition didn't put me off it. That game becomes so unstable and prone to crashes and low FPS after you've done a lot. I'd played for 125 before I got the GOTY edition, and naturally there were a lot of bodies and loot lying around everywhere (I know some of it does dissapear, but a lot doesn't), then with the GOTY it had to load even more stuff for the DLC and the game became unplayable.
If they did do this, I'd like the option to dispose of the body (like Morrowind did to improve stability)
