I found a fix for the corrupt save problem, what i've been doing is using a flash drive( just a regular one, not the xbox branded one) and saving my games to it, then when I re start a game I load it from the
flash drive then save it onto my xbox HD( in case i die) its been working for me... as a side note when I don't save it to the xbox hd and try to play it off the flash drive I get a lot of xbox freezes
