Usually I don't look ahead of a quest, but I did for ED-E my love quest. I am glad I did, because I almost regretted what I was going to do next. So without putting any spoilers here, I have a choice now, to either give him better Armour or better Weapons. I was thinking of better armour so he lasts longer, but I end up resaving the game all the time because he wonders off to much and ends up getting himself killed anyways, so not sure if the better armour would help, and I don't want the Spiffy Looking shiney robot follwoing me around so I am leaning to better weapons.

So I am wondering what have you guys have done. Why have you done it. Do you like it or regret your choice?

I've done both but I like armour more

I never had a problem with ED-E getting killed, so I got the weapons improvement. I think the weapon upgrade adds a new weapon animation.

Weapon is better, he is able to kill them before they get close to him and kill him, and when he levels up enough he is pretty tough without the armor.
