Maybe I shouldn't have let Boone do what he wanted. :)

I was trying to roll play my game, and we came close to a town where it had the Legion in it. Boone wanted to go kill them, but I said maybe later. Well I guess we couldn't sneak around good enough, since Boone started shooting them. Oh well since I saw NCR hung up on the cross, I helped Boone get his revenge. Problem is, he beat me to it, and shot them all before I could get a shot off. Funny thing is a few days later (real life days) when I went back to take out the town with the NCR it was so much easier to do. I didn't even know it was part of a quest.

So now my dispotion got lower with Legion. So now they attack me, so I defend myself and get more lower dispotion and they are atacking me first lol. Well now I am vilified and have Assaisins after me now. Many they are tough. Good thing I have Boone and ED-E with me or I wouldn't be able to survive. Now I have a wicked Close Combat weapon from them.

I am just wondering if I didn't let Boone attack them if things would be different for me with the Legion. I sort of like roll playing it like this since I can't go back on bad choices and living with the consequences now. At least I feel good helping Boone get his reveng for his wife.

What is the purpose of this thread? I have no idea. Just wanted to say, how it's good to live with the consequences and not starting over. Just wondering if life will ever get easier with the Legion.

I guess my question is, can I even get more hated from killing the Assassins they keep sending my way? Is there a way to make peace with them so I don't get attacked so often or should I find a way to wipe them all out once and for all. (Bear in mind no spoilers please since I haven't completed the game yet and I do not know what is in store for me. I am on my way to New Vegas to find Benny right now.)

After you find Benny, you can redeem yourself with the Legion. However, it is specifically stated that you will not be granted this a second time. That's all I'll say so you don't get spoiled. But yeah, the Legion is pretty much won't ever forgive you after that, I think they are more unforgiving than the NCR as there is generally just less to do that will win them over.

Yeah, what apples said. If you want to play a Legion-friendly playthrough in the future, better not go wandering around much with Boone for a companion, as you've discovered  Not much room for error with him, if there are any skirt-boys within a mile of ya.

What I found so funny with Boone when I was trying to carry less items because I was over encoumbered, he would carry some of the armour but kept one of the helmets and put it on, so he was walking around with the Featherd head top, looke hilarious. :P

So now he was killing Legion with that on. I had to take it off since it just looked so wrong and finally gave him some medium armour and a motor cycley helmet to wear. Guess I will keep him around for protection for now.

Thanks guys for the quick comments, I was fearing the rest of the game would be Me vs the Legion wich is getting a bit tiresome now. Off to find that weasel Benny now. :)

According to the Wiki, Boone will actually leave you if you give Rex Lupa's brain. Expecting him to behave around actual Legion troops... not friggin' likely.

Boone will only leave depending on NCR fame and if you have done his quest he will always stay. I always give Rex Lupa's brain cos overall that makes him happiest.

That's basically the game punishing you for picking Boone over Raul.

When I see the Legion assassins coming, I just think, "More loot." It's fine by me. :) I'm surprised to see you say that Boone wore that helm because it's faction armor and they never did that before, they'd only drop it on the ground.

Yep, if you go near any crimson with Boone as your companion, he'll do what needs to be done. I'm guessing he warned you because that happened to me at Cottonwood Cove. He warned me...I kept sneaking around the outside of the camp, not ready to go in yet...he decided to go in and like Raul, I thought, "I guess we're doing this now." ha.

Have a great game...I just finished my game last night and the endscenes were the ones I wanted to see. It's surprising how long they are too. Destiny was helpful to everyone she met and got the job done; she sent the Legion packing. :)

I was shocked that Boone wore the helmet. Any time I try to give him faction armour to carry to lessen my burden it goes to ground. Just wish I remembered the name of that helmet so you guys could have tried it out.

Enjoying my game emensly now. I am curious if I will ever find out the story about Boone and his wife, since when I talk to him he say he doesn't want to talk about it now. Wonder if he will later. Oh well. Great game Obsidian, nice job hoping there will be more to keep it last longer. :)

Boone's favor points are gained when you do things he likes with him in the party. Problem is, once you've done them already without him, that opportunity is lost for good. :(

Still annoys me that two of his points are gained in spots where 95% of new players wouldn't even have met Boone yet.
