Lonesome Road won't be released this month. Thread #2

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 9:10 pm

I'm not arguing with anyone, I'm just saying it seems silly to assume. I get the impression nothing to do with game design is ever set in stone.

EDIT:: Mako, your signiture's awesome. True to paycheck indeed.

But Both companies stated this, so, it wont happen, No BS for NV

Not to burst your bubble, but it has been confirmed by several devs time and again, them going into detail to get the point across that this isn't going to change, the game will end, and they won't undo that.

In a world such as Fallout, there's only one man you can trust, and that's a dead man.

And I shouldn't have to tell you that the faces on the dollar ain't live men.

They should not have posted the achievements if it was going to be delayed really.

There is really nothing that can be done now except wait for lonesome road to come out. On an unrelated note this is my 1st post on this forum.

Don't ruin my life. All my hopes were pinned on that, I love free roaming ends. Let me carry on thinking it might happen.
Lol'd at the last two lines though.

I have to agree with that since they said there was nothing wrong development wise with the code I really wonder what they are delaying it for. August there is nothing coming out, perfect time to release the DLC if it is done. In september it will be competing with Resistance 3, Gears of War 3, Dead Island and possibly other titles as well and ether marketing at Bethesda needs to be fired :flamethrower: for making such an oversite or something big is coming like another DLC or an update that throws more things in like the Witcher 2 update.

Ether way I am pretty disapointed that we now have to go through this drought while waiting for Lonesome Roads.

Yeah to many hot titles coming out next month, but lol at-least we won't be waiting two months for the dlc or an update for two months, though hopefully they have a good reason for the push back.

You like read my mind, I was planning on getting both Resistance 3 and Dead Island, and I highly doubt I'll give up one of those so I have the time to play LR.

I'm sure everyone in the back of their mind was certain it would be delayed. This has to be their new modus operandi or something.

Yeah delays are so darn common in the gaming market, when ever someone says something push it back a few weeks at-least.

True true, always perceive the release date to be at least a month later.

Nope, this is out of Bethesda and Obsidians hands. It's someone elses fault, but they wont say.

It's Benny's fault. Killing the Courier delayed the data needed to release the DLC. F*** Benny!!!

As I said in another thread, I'm scared to be even remotely specific. Clearly the fates don't want me doing that.

BURN THE FALSE PROPHET!!!

No but seriously, if you guys need to delay it a month or so to make it better, than i'm all for it. But you must be able to see how some people are starting to get annoyed seing as how OWB was delayed, Rage is delayed, and now LR is delayed. (and if Skyrim gets delayed, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VopC0g5UViM )

I wish they would tell us so all the angry ppl could get mad at some one other than jason bergman and bethesda/obsidian who obviously weren't at fault

While we are on the topic of house is there any bloody way for him to spare the BOS? I love house but id rather spare boss and end him since he is only 1 man, one life, and the way he refers to bos is a bit of prejudice which most people are of him mind you.

I really don't see it as a huge deal. There was never a release date to begin with so it's hardly a delay. I'd rather it be released later with less bugs than sooner with magical game crashing powers.
