3D modeling tutorials?

Before you ask, I did check the sticky. Specifically, I checked http://www.gamedev.net/reference/art/features/blender1/ link in the sticky, which is a great link, because it explains how to do things in basically layman's terms. However, I have the latest version of Blender, and the version used in the tutorial is a few versions old. Which means, that the shortcut layout is different, and I was unable to go past the basic extrude part of the tutorial. So, does anyone have a tutorial for basic 3D modeling for the latest versions of Blender that I can use? Thanks in advance.

You'll need the latest full version (2.49) and not the beta 2.5x as there's no exporter for 2.5x yet. I'll just copy my previous reply to the same question:

A) Version of Blender I need to Animate, Model, and Texture for Morrowind.
You can use version 2.49b

B) Programs are required to Import/Export Animations, Models, and Textures to and from Morrowind using Blender.
Everything you need is http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/Blender.

C) How to install all of these (which order).
Install them in the same order they are listed above.

D) Tutorials that will help me learn how to Animate, Model, and Texture for Morrowind using Blender.
There a a plathoria of turtorials available. You'll want to start with the ones linked on the page above. On YouTube search for blender tutorials for lots of step by step videos. On this forum there is a stickie thread http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/24-comprehensive-tutorial-and-useful-link-list/ with links to tutorials. This tutorial on http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28319 is for Oblivion but the process works for Morrowind just the same (Be careful browsing TESNexus as it does host necrophillic porm and downloading some of the content available there may be illegal in your country.)

In particular you'll want to check the blender noob to pro links on the niftools link (the "rigth here" link in the above quote).
