Black and White?

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 11:14 pm

Hey guys it's kinda stupid question but how to make my New Vegas and Fallout 3 black and white.I can't see any color settings on my monitor or the game.I also have working TV from WW2 but doubt there is a way to connect my PC to it.Many years ago my grandpa modified it to connect my NES but that's different though.Any suggestions?

Old World technology rocks! :)

On the other hand, why do you want to play Fallout without colors? A lot of the enviroment relies on color scheme to tell the difference between them.

Anyway, since you are on a PC, there isn't really a native black & white theme for Windows, but this won't affect the game.
Your monitor doesn't have color controls? It's LCD or CRT? Unless it's really an old monitor you can control the colors, just access the OSD of the monitor and set the color scheme to manual, user or whatever these lines (sometimes you access the colors in a menu called "color temperature").
Then you can configure the RGB color settings to grayscale (b&w), simply put all three color controls at 0.

Hope this helps

If you are a PC user, note that you could reuse the color environment of Tranny Lane for other locations too.

The term stemmed from a time before I didn't know how to write Tranquility properly. Being Finnish and all. And it sounds amusingly disturbing but YES I meant Tranquility Lane. :P

But considering what Betty is in reality, could it actually be Tranny Lane?
