i started playing morrowind a few months ago on pc (also have asked questions here about tips e.t.c) basically, haven't played it since re-buying oblivion for my 360.i just have problems getting into it to be honest.it definitely is a fantastic game, but so frustrating to get anywhere with (even with difficulty on easiest) basically am thinking of restarting it,hence why i am asking my question. what would you recommend as a good character to restart with.am partial to crusader type character (as my oblivion female breton crusader character is) who can use some magic also (especially destruction spells) .i really want to get into this game,as i know, when i get into it,i will love it as much as oblivion. am not a particularly great gameplayer (hence easiest difficulty).cheers! :-)

Put difficulty back to normal and make a Nord Warrior. Worked for me, and helped me get through the whole main quest, fighters guild, and the expansions. Just make sure you build your character to the max, and I would suggest using axes.

Redguard with longblade, heavy or light armor (either one works), and restoration is by far the one easiest classes to roll through this game with, pick the Lady sign. If you want a warrior type character with destruction magic, Dark Elf with long blade and destruction works just as well. For your sign, Choose the Apprentice, the Mage, or the Lady (if you want to be more melee based due to the additional health from the big endurance boost).

Go to Nalcarya of White Haven’s alchemy shop in Balmora. Buy a Recall potion and a Mark potion. Go somewhere safe, like at a shrine in a Temple and take the Mark potion. Now, whenever a situation gets frustrating, just right click to your inventory menu (which freezes action) and take the Recall potion. Falling to your death or drowning or getting pounded into Nix-hound food? Do the Recall thing and boom baby, you're whisked to safety! If a poison or something is damaging your health over time, you can immediately get a cure from the shrine.

After you take the package to Cosades in Balmora, visit the Blades that he will tell you about. They will give you some free gear that you can sell or use. Join the Fighters Guild and the Mages Guild. These guilds have chests that offer free gear in Vivec, Sadrith Mora, Ald‘ruhn and Balmora that you can also sell or use. The chests spawn new free gear every month.

Now whatever character you choose, you can start with a chunk of cash, some gear and you need never die again.
