[WIPz] Midgetaliens Bloodmoon Patch

Browsing through UESP I noticed that there was a lot of things wrong with the Bloodmoon expansion, further increasing my belief that the expansion was rushed.

Alot of the bugs are covered by the Morrowind Patch Project but looking through it I noticed that some other things werent - I believe this is because they arent considered bugs as such.

Well I think they are bugs and I have decided to "fix them"

This will be modular and will have a "total" esp which includes all the fixes.

So here are the changes:

BUG: Sados Relothan's house in Raven Rock - there is no Sados Relothan anywhere in the game or the CS.
Fix: Added Sados Relothan to the game

Bug: In Sados Relothan's house an item in it is listed as belonging to Sakin Sanammasour, an otherwise un-notable Ashlander living in Suran.
Fix: Changed the ownership to Sados Relothan

Bug: Vacant House in Raven Rock
Fix: More of a tweak - It doesnt make sense to have a vacant house, where supplies are limited so have given it an owner.

Bug: Zeno Faustus, the blacksmith of Fort Frostmoth is suposed to sell imperial armor but he wears it.
Fix: More of a tweak - addedextra armor so that Zeno Faustus sells imperial armor to the player

Bug: Mirisa the Redguard missionary isnt wearing shoes
Fix: Added shoes to Mirisa.

Bug: Brynjolfr hut contains a Nordic Silver Shortsword that would give him a full set of Nordic Silver weaponry but it is not owned by him and so he doesn't sell it
Fix: Assigned owner ship to the shortsword so Brynjolfr will sell it.

Bug: Draugr are not actually considered undead by the game and are instead set as creatures. As such, Turn Undead spells will not work against them.
Fix: Made Draugr "Undead" so that Turn Undead spells will work. (Mirisa actaully sells a turn undead spell so I think the Devs meant to make them undead)

Nice! Never noticed they werent undead, strange. Theres also the smith in skaal which i think is supposed to sell wolf and bear armor, but doesnt. :)

You have an eye for detail equal to my own, I like that. :)

I'd noticed the lack of undeadness in draugrs myself, I just never really think to make mods correcting such things, at least not the kind that ONLY make those corrections, instead of being a part of something more.

Cool fixes, MA. I've never noticed any of those issues up to this point. :P (But than again, I don't play Bloodmoon all that much.)

hmm, gonna have to include some of these fixes in my mod, although some i don't need to do.

but now that i'm remaking ravenrock i'll have to add the missing NPC.

........ ok - I was going to send you the esp I have to merge with your mod to save you any effort or trouble. But seeing as you've already done alot of work on solsthiem, have already pointed out and fixed all the bugs then there is no need. Infact because your solstheim mod is far superior to my little mods (of which I have many that span accross solsthiem) that I should perhaps give up on this mod as its evidently an OLD IDEA and a failed attempt to bring stability to those that might not use your mod - oh please forgive my foresight in the matter of all things solsthiem. I will make sure to double check with you any other ideas I have for solsthiem. In fact her is my current WIP list that deals with solsthiem:

- Midgetaliens bloodmoon patch (now canncelled due to it being ineffective or needed)
- Fort frostmoth docks enhanced (the next version) - fixes many bugs from th previous version as well as more clutter.
- Fort FrostDale - An new imperial watch tower built to watch for invading nords
- The shrine of Falzan - Another Falmer Ruin
- The hidden halls - Another Falmer Ruin
- The Werewolf lays - a book mod


Now, having had previous success with solsthiem mods that span past your january experience, could these mods be of any use or practical reasoning to be continued or have ou already thought of these as well? May I continue working on them or will it steal the thunder from your mod?

I am very sorry if I seem very - out of place - with this reply but your the one that came in big'in up your mod in my thread and making it feel insignificant no matter what.

so do I continue with my despair or do I try to find the light dear wolli?

EDIT: for the sake of humanity I have highlighted the sarcastic bits to show the bits which shouldnt be taken seriously. I am not goin to delete the post because to do so would make it seem like i was being melcious on purpose. I meant only a playful poke at wolli :(

Wolli dont do something so stupid- you've put in a lot of work to the overhaul project. I know its easy to get excited about a project and you want to include everything and not to step on peoples toes etc...(espically not mine atm as I have broken my foot) - but please rest asure that I am justa grumpy git that likes to have my cake and eat it. Coming in and practically telling me my work was pointless cause your including it in your mod kinda stung a bit.

But please dont throw away your hard work :)

also please be noted that my last post is about %60 sarcasm

Hi guys and girls,

Well its been a fun run, but I will make this short and sweet - I am done. No more modding for me :) The recnet events with certian trolls over the last week, personnal attacks on my work by other people, the incedents where I defended someone else who was taking abuse over their work and the recent issuies rasied here with some hate PM's I've decided what have I got left to give to this community that seems to always take from me?

yes I am being portrayed as the bad guy - again. Just like when some high profile texture (who eveyone still shares his work) left I got a lot of stick over that.

So peace out all. You may still use my resources but anything that I have asked in my readmes that says you need my permission please abid by that! I will still answer emails.


take care and [insert something witty here]

doubt I will be missed.

oh and for what its worth - Wolli I am sorry.

I usually try to ignore drama zones but what the hell. You're wrong there. Not only did I personally enjoy your work, but every hit this community takes at this point is a great loss. Especially when it's over some seemingly petty or temporary thing. And it usually is.

I'm reluctant to say goodbye in case you change your mind.

I second what adul said, but really the best advice is this: if you want to mod, do it because you want to, if it gives you personal satisfaction,if you are proud of what you've done and want to share, do it, do not be constrained by what other people want or do. My advice with this particular mod: realease it anyway, people will appreciate your work nonetheless (I certainly will), your mod and wollibeebee's are not the same, it would be unwise to stop just because you are angry, if you like modding, do it, if you dont, well, its probably best for you to stop and do what you actually want to do. (Plus you can use eachothers mods or edit them to your tastes. His mod is available to you, and your's is available to him) Modding is tailoring the game to your preference, not somebody elses.

Thank you all for your contributions. Rest assured it is appreciated.
