Creating a campfire.

I know this is a small thing for game immersion. But with the cool sounding changes with cooking, as in graphic's so far, not sure what else.

Just seems right to be able to set up camp near a river or stream, in the wind chilled mountains of Skyrim, next to a warm fire; and not a Fallout 3 style either, but with fire in it :flamethrower:

Speaking of crossbows would be great, one of the things I loved about bioshock, but would be more fitting in this game.

Hmm... while I agree, I doubt that modding in crossbows would be easy. Perhaps campfire building, if it's not in the game already, but crossbows would probably be a ton of work to make it look as nice as everything else, especially the animations.

I completely agree with the campfire idea. We should be able to buy bedrolls and campfire sets and place them (obviously not everywhere, you need to be in a clear area with nothing in the way for a 5m radius maybe) and then light said campfire site with a fire spell. I would totally consider changing character types from mage to wilderness hunter then.

I would enjoy that, it would keep the cold and animals at bay. As for crossbows, eh Morrowind was fun, but I never really used em

Yeah, would have seemed just right for fishing too, with the salmon and all. But, I'm just as happy being able to catch fish in my hands. This news was a bit of a reliever after hearing we couldn't fish in the traditional sense.

And, yeah, I'm all for IMMERSION...just had to emphasize the word, for those people who hate seeing it. I really think it's an important part of TES, that I am able to feel a part of the world.

So, yeah, camping would be awesome. But don't get your hopes up.
