I bought fallout 1, 2 , and tactics a bit ago and I am stumped, I can't do the combat I don't even know how to get caps from people. Could someone please tell me how to be successful at these games.

So much to teach, and so little time. I suggest you watch the beginning of a Fallout Lets Play on Youtube to pick up the mechanics, and don't worry, once you have combat down, the rest should come easy.

Oh yeah, to get caps you either do quests, pick them up off corpses or use the barter option on the right side of the screen when talking to people.

Stay away from plants, they kick my ass every time I start FO1 and 2. :shakehead:

Also, put a decent amount into unarmed or melee, I have an unarmed skill of 102 and I punch highwaymen to death to get caps.
