For my newest playthrough I wanted to join Ceasars Legion. I only "helped" the NCR ONCE with Bolder City (I shot them after the Khans where free). (before that I shot a lot of NCR at the town with the rollercoaster and at the powder ganger prison)

No matter what I do my reputation with the NCR keeps sticking at "Mercifull thug.". Even tho killed off ALL of their camps (accept the Dam), I cleared all ranger stations...even got the Ranger Kill team one me (killed them too). But it doesn't seem to matter. I've failed the "Don't thread on the bear"quest. It says I've been marked as a Terrorist to the NCR now....but I'm still a Mercifull Thug. I'm idolized at Ceasars Legion for turning in about 150 NCR tags.

And when I go talk to Mr. House I still get invited to meet with the NCR ambassador....my rep seems to be frozen as Mercifull thug.

I don't wanna throw away many hours of play and start over...anything I can do? This is driving me nuts.
