I've been here before due to the same issue, but it subsided and it's happening again and won't stop. Now, I edited a mod and I really really like it, but whenever I start up Oblivion with the mod on, it just crashes after it shows "Bethesda" when starting up. Can anyone help a sap?

Hard to say without knowing exactly what you did in that mod. There are lots of possibe reasons for Oblivion crashing after editing a mod. Can you describe a bit the kind of modifications you have been doing?
