I've been really excited over the summonable spirit wolf. It conjures (no pun) all kinds of scenes in my mind. I makes me anticipate other ethereal creatures.

I think we can add to the list some new info from today and yesterday:
..
15. Complete one handed and two handed perks list confirmed
..
any more I missed?

Is there a list of these somewhere?

the comment about improved hand to hand was in the Italian hands-on preview (multiplayer.it)

Ashley Cheng mentioned during his E3 interview that you can play as a total hand-to-hand character, "like a monk"

this has us all wondering which skill governs hand to hand attacks, since there are no H2H perks in 1-handed or 2-handed.

4. NPCs can throw rocks at you if they are on a bridge above you

I wonder if giants will be able to throw boulders. That's something I have always hoped they would add or confirm.

Would that require destructible environments?

it wasn't really clear from the article discussing bandits throwing rocks where they got the rocks. Was there a pile of rocks on top of the bridge? Were they altering the terrain by removing rocks?

Were there "spirit" creatures in Morrowind or Daggerfall?

I encounter them in Oblivion but I think that is only due to Oscuro's or Martigen's mods (I have FCOM installed)

Storm cloaks, improved bosmer, 6 teirs of crafting...I wasn't aware of these things until this thread. I guess I could say all of them!

What i'm the most excited for is the learning experience. It doesn't matter in which order you play the elderscrolls games in, theres always something to learn, from the lore, to how to effectively play the game.

Nice list, but missing hundreds of hand painted original caves and ruins to explore! Worked on by 8 employees instead of 1? Believe that's what I read.

Apparently someone named Richard Subia just copied the OP of this thread word for word without verifying any sources and pretended that he wrote an actual article.

At least paraphrase, jeez :lmao:

I'm most impressed with Dragon Shouts. I know I'm going to spam Slow Time quite a bit.

Slow Time,

Burn enemies.

From the Italian hands on preview of the QuakeCon 60 minute demo: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1217233-another-preview/

The author mentions that Hand to Hand attacks have a much improved "gravity and physicality" compared with Oblivion hand to hand attacks.

1. Crafting
2. Cooking
3. A more Dynamic, gritty world (finally on par with the 2001 Gothic series as far as NPC's actually functioning like real people)
4. Better quality dungeons (although I hope they realize that water flows down once the product is finished  )
5. Level scaling that actually feels a bit more natural
6. Characters don't look like some water colored piece from a 5 year old now, they actually look much better.
7. You start at the bottom of the map again
8. Perk system (a lot of people are complaining about but they can kindly [censored] off because you know full well a system like this can work if done well)
9. Jeremy Soule's new musical score for this game (by far my favorite video game composer)
10. It's not a Fallout game (sorry but post nuclear just ain't mah thing, dawg)
11. Mudcrabs v. 3
