I bought Fallout 3 off of Steam, but it keeps crashing! When I launch it from Steam or from the desktop shortcut (shortcut points to Steam...), it always fails at the launcher. Sometimes it will work, but most of the time it crashes as soon as I opened it. The few times it let me play the actual game, I can get about as far as when I open the Vault door, and it always crashes when the guards start attacking me. This has happened before and after connecting to my LIVE account, also before AND after I updated to the latest patch (1.7). Any solutions? I have tried "Disabling Desktop Composition" on both the launcher and the program, but neither have helped. They both still crash. Do I need to run it in compatibility mode? Thanks for any help, here is my system build if it helps.
