Why do argonian females have briasts?

Post » Mon Aug 15, 2011 12:33 am

Well... The way they give birth isn't through eggs so, they need [censored], if you look at a reptile, eggs = no [censored], get it people? Argonians have six just like all the other races

i was under the impression there are in fact argonian eggs. the word hatchlings is often used for argonian newborns

Ation
yeah i get that, but there are argonian eggs, which means their reproductive system is lizard like which means they shouldnt have briasts

Platypi, (platypuses?) Lay eggs, their babies drink milk. There real world example for a similar situation. Granted the Argonians are lizard people, but the concept is the same. Problem of why Argonians have briasts? Solved. Yay!

For two reasons:

1) they couldn't even give beast legs to the beast races. Evidently, trying to make the argonian females with a different body set would put the developers into seizures

2) fanservice for the furry fandom

Sad but true. And I do love the beast races - this is why I wished they were better.

There's no universal law that says anything that hatches from an egg and has scales must be a reptile, or adhere to the standard scientific definition of a reptile. Evolution can produce just about anything that makes sense for the environment it evolves in. A warm-blooded humanoid creature with scales that lays eggs and produces milk for its young is neither a reptile nor a mammal, but, hypothetically, it could exist--somewhere in the universe, as it doesn't defy any physical laws. They're not lizards after all, and the Elder Scrolls isn't set on Earth.

How ignorant. If they briastfeed, they have briasts. They just don't have nipbles.

The best part is that you claim someone is ignorant, then YOU are the ignorant one. :P

If they briastfeed, then can have nipbles without having briasts. NOT the other way around, pal.

Why do Argonian females have briasts? Well, for the same reason that elves have pointed ears, or that Orcs have green skin and tusks, or that Khajiit females have two briasts instead of six.

And that reason is... Just Because. Bethesda liked the look, and that's all the reason they need :).

just because they have something that outwardly resembles mammalian/humanoid briasts doesn't mean they perform the same function (feeding the next generation) they could be fat stores (like a camel's hump)

Because some folk are furries (not that there's anything wrong with that) and the devs simply found it aesthetically superior to do so. I have no objections, meself.
