Best mods for the Fallout 3?

Post » Tue Aug 16, 2011 1:30 pm

As title suggests I want to mod my Fallout 3, I dont care about quest mods or stuff like that. I am more looking for stuff like FCOM for oblivion (MMM,OOO and things like that) and how to make them work together. Or if you like any mod so much you cant imagine playing fallout without it feel free to write it here.

MMM - because you can never have too many things to kill
FWE - because vanilla gets old after the fourteenth playthrough
DC Interiors - because you can never have too many places to explore
Imps More Complex Needs - it's complex!
Fallout Food (unfortunately there's no IMCN compatibility patch for it but there is one for FWE)- cooking is fun
See You- Time For Bed - because things should happen while you sleep
Streetlights - brighten up that pitch black night provided by your weather mod of choice
Crowded Cities - more people to hang with
Solar Scorcher - a super cool energy weapon that's not just placed in a box somewhere

Also is it possible to use script extender on steam so it will count your gameplay hours?

Most of the compatibility patches you'll need are on the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4968. There's one for FWE + Fallout Food on the Fallout Food page and Imps More Complex Needs page has the patches it needs on it's download page as well. BOSS will help you get everything positioned in the right load order.

ghouls' list is excellent (I play with most of that list) but I would add:

Weapon Mod Kits

and

Darnified UI
