Can't create a working Bashed Patch

Post » Tue Aug 16, 2011 7:56 pm

I've done some serious reading into how to get a bashed patch to function, but against my best efforts I only get crashes on loading.
I enter the Rebuild Patch tab, select the FCOM related options, and compile. Oddly enough it DOES make the main menu sound effects much louder... then crashes.
I'm tinkering with the box selections right now but Bashed really does seem ridiculously complicated. I don't even seem to need it, FCOM is running and I don't even have the patch yet.

Don't import actor spells from FCOM Convergence and try again. Out of curiosity do you have Enhanced Weather installed also? Post load order.

If you are not sure how best to post your load order, see here: http://tescosi.com/wiki/Oblivion:How_to_Post_Your_Load_Order

Choose the Wrye Bash option, please.

Do not select Mayu's Animation Overehaul in the tweaks section unless you have that mod installed and active...

You can try to remove the sound FCOM option and see if it works. I believe you must use the bashed patch with FCOM, but here can you find more http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1215773-relz-fcom-convergence-and-ufcom/. :)
