Fate of the Brotherhood

Give me your thoughts on the fate of the BoS (east and west coast), will it make a comeback from the west, will it become the leading power of the east, would the east coast BoS eventually fight the NCR. Anything really.

Well the west coast probally depends on what's cannon for new Vegas. If they don't make the treaty with the NCR, the NCR will probally wipe them out. Otherwise something interesting will probally happen.

For the East Coast on the other hand. Well you might have to go look at my fallout 4 ideas. :)

I have always held the opinion that if Hub merchants can point random inquirerers in the direction of the Brotherhood capital - Lost Hills - that 110 years later the NCR will know where it is and will have taken steps to destroy it.

Yeah the Mojave Brotherhood, I'm not entirely sure how that works though. So the Mojave BoS are not okay to shoot but the rest of the Brotherhood go ahead? If it is canon that the NCR and Mojave BoS made it treaty it was nothing but one of convience for both the over-stretched NCR and the morale broken Brotherhood. The Mojave Brotherhood are pretty bitter for the most part and the NCR is commanded by people like Moore, that treaty isn't going to last after the NCR stabilise Vegas.

As for the CWBoS? I reckon that Lyon's successor - his daughter - will probably secceed from the Brotherhood and form a new state with Rivet City.

In a dust-up between the two? Unfathomable. Right now the NCR still has weight of numbers and the local populace don't really have any pride - like say the Freesiders did which made them anti-NCR - the locals would probably support the proven stablilty of the NCR.

I see Lost hills as a siege and stalemate. The main enterance is ringed on all sides by a permenent NCR force dug in with trenches. The front door is sealed and protected by all sorts of devices that make an attack impossible; whilst the brotherhood tunnel out to ensure a supply line.

The only ones happy are the scribes - they get some peace and quiet to invent stuff.

Sounds plausible, just depends on how long the war's been going on for. I know that Helios was a largely indefensable position and such the NCR had a better chance but I can't imagine anyone in the NCR just be satisfied by a continious thorn in their side like Lost Hills.

Western Brotherhood: would slowly die out over time or NCR will kill them off. Unless the BoS changes their ways and lean to be friends with their neighbours then their end will happen. Which is odd because in Fallout and Fallout 2 the BoS got along with other Factions an NCR.

Eastern Brotherhood: Lyons and his bos will spend the next couple of decades hunting down the super mutanst, Enclave and raiders. Someday they might just go back to California. Then there is the Outcast, still need to deal with them. I don't see them ever becoming a power.

Midwestern brotherhood: It is mentioned they have fallen on hard times. That is all we know of what about them since Tactics. Barnaky Ending is what I hope for to be the canon ending.
