Landmass suggestions!

Post » Wed Aug 17, 2011 7:59 pm

Alright I'm trying out the overhaul and I want to have more landmass! I need suggestions to make the biggest world ever! It also doesn't have to e ginormous , little islands are cool too!

What I have:
-silgrad tower/blacklight (west of vvardenfell)
-TR Maps 1-2 (north-east of vvardenfell)
- anatasia? ( I think that's what it's, it's WAY south of vvardenfell)
- wizards island with super patch ( moves wizards island north of solteseim and TR map 1)
- siege of firemoth ( south west of vvardenfell)
- reign of fire ( I don't think it actually adds a landmass, maybe a small island or two but I'm pretty sure not though)

What I'm interested in:
Sea of destiny ( I heard there is a patch to make it compatible with certain landmasses, can anyone let me know?)
- TR maps 3-6 ( any news)
- anything else you can recommend!

What probably won't work due to compatibility:
-havish ( I've heard of no compatibility patch)

I also want some great city expansions! I'll name what I have. I can't remember the exact names of all of them but ill try:
- Balmora expanded 1.4
- new suran
- new Seyda neen
- vivec expanded
- rise is house telvanni ( adds towers through quests)
- buildin up ulvirth's grave
- new khuul ( I think I have)
- new gnisis ( I think I have)
- I have some kind of ald reynd ( spelling is ba sorry)
-better caldera
- ald sothsis
-mournhold expanded
- I may have one or two more not sure
Thats all I can think of, when I'm home I'll confirm the list. Thanks SO MUCH for the help

The Sea of Destiny patch would be the one I made (actually it's an ESP replacer). See signature....

Oh and don't forget Trainwiz's Deus Ex mod (huge awesome landmass)!

Ald Vendras, Veldion and Riller Mosh too!

And I thought there was a Havish patch....

Ald Vendras
Goblin Lab
Tel Nachim
Moon Isle
Dulsya Island
Veldion
Island of Tusar

Are some more landmass mods. All except Ald Vendras and Tusar will conflict with TR without a patch or moving. I have seen one map with many of these moved north but they weren't released as far as I know.

Personally I have 2 installs. One waiting for TR and the other with everything else.

Good luck.

How do you find time to visit all of that landmass? Your current list seems like it would be quite a lot to explore.

You are correct about the Havish compatibility patch. I have an .esm file named HavishMoved for TR. There is no readme so I have no idea who made it, and I've never tried it in-game, so I have no idea if it works. But it exists. That's a starting point, I suppose.

I can vouch for Ald-Vendras and Tusar. Those are two of my all-time favorite landmass mods. They occupy the area north (Tusar) and northwest (Ald-Vendras) of Dagon Fel, if you like that area (I do).

The White Wolf of LoKKen adds a fantastic landmass off the east coast of Solstheim and Korana's Solstheim Castle adds a smaller but very nice landmass in that area too. Compatibility patches are available for a Ald-Vendras, LoKKen and Solstheim Castle combo. I've run the three together and, for an landmass-adding freak like me it's a dream come true You can practically walk from Dagon Fel to Solstheim. ;)
