[Wip] Ameliorated Creatures

Post » Thu Aug 18, 2011 7:26 pm

Project Summary

To keep it short Ameliorated Creatures is basically my creature improvement project. I plan to remake all of the original Morrowind creatures from scratch one by one (including the expansions) and then possibly move on to making some creatures for Tamriel Rebuilt, Province: Cyrodiil. and Skyrim: Home of the Nords. I will only be making lore-friendly creatures and any work that I get done will be released as a modder's resource for others to utilize however they see fit.

So, because of the way I'm going about this project I will be releasing all of the meshes I make as soon as I finish each one rather than waiting to release them in large bundles. My first release for each creature will ONLY contain meshes (no textures and no animations). I do this in hopes that some other modder's will want to go ahead and make their own textures and animations for the models I make to help get them into the actual game faster. I will eventually get around to making my own textures and animations for each one, but doing all of this work on my own will take an unbelievable amount of time.

P.S. I'm pretty new to the whole modelling thing so if somebody notices a screw up with any of my models please let me know so I can jump on it.

Releases ( Each contains a .Nif, .Obj, and .Fbx file )

Sounds like a pretty big undertaking. That forager model is amazing, by the way.

Incredible model, but maybe can you at least include the original texture path in the .nif? :hubbahubba:

Thank you papill6n. I'll update it with the original texture path in a little bit.

That's great to hear, because you'll probably get your chance to later on :) .

I just updated the Kwama Forager with a texture path leading to the original texture as requested and I also put in the shadow mesh.
