Collateral!

I'm just wishing there was bullet penetration, so when I score a collateral headshot with my Barnett, I can shriek "COLLATERAL!" in a little kid voice through my headset 4-5 times a game.

In all seriousness, would you want bullet penetration? Even just on our guns, the turret might be too overpowered if it had bullet penetration...

Umm, you sir are a fail, Halo HAS bullet penetration ( for snipers); this game doesn't. :facepalm:

I mean, for all guns. Not just the sniper... I know most people would ragequit if it was just the snipers...

its nice in COD and all..

but would offset the balance,
and SD would have to recalculate everything,
and besides just cause you shoot someone doesnt mean you shoot entirely through them everytime.

and even more so, if i use my KROSS drum mag i already shoot "through" people,
cause it shoots so many bullets so fast you just keep hitting your targets,
doesnt matter if they are next or behind eachother really.

I find it irritating as hell when team mates block my shots. Considering how much of a cluster [censored] this game often turns into, a bit of collateral would go down nicely.

No, snipers are already exceedingly overpowered in certain situations, collateral damage could only make this worse.

The immediate problem is that the spawn zones and frequent choke points tend to have people swarming out in clumps from the same areas. As is I can get multiple kills by just spamming with my Sea Eagle with little care for aim when people are doing that. Add in penetration/collateral and... yeah, every choke point just got a lot deadlier.
