Is it a normal alchemy event to receive a potion of heroism compltely free out of nowhere?


Because I just got 1 in my inventory and I don't know where its from

It must be from a mod then, because that's the only one in the original game.
And no, there is no way to randomly receive one from alchemy.

Perhaps it was in a chest/crate/corpse for storage, and you did a "Take All" without realizing you were picking it up?

Actually I got one in the beginning of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Shoes_of_St._Rilms. Endryn Llethan told me Ald Sotha might be bit out of my league, but with "this," *gives me the potion* "you should be able to run through it" or something like that.

Does this imply that Endryn gives away that potion if you attempt that quest too low-leveled? Or was this doings of a mod? I definitely remember getting that potion from him when he gave me that quest, though.

Bingo for the quest that gives the potion (it means hat the uesp is out of date on this quest/potion)

I think he gives it no matter the lvl because I've done that quest on lvl 19

Yeah, and everyone stating there's only one Potion of Heroism in Morrowind is wrong. This game is awesome, it always seems to deliver something new, time and time again.
