Time to rim the sky...

Did anyone else pre-order the collectors edition? I did, and I can't wait! I bet that a few weeks after the game comes out, the statue of Alduin could sell for about 100 dollars.

Yup. But I highly doubt anyone would want to buy the statue separately. Maybe in 20 years. ;)

Didn't see the need. Always hated collectors editions, if there's any extra software I'll get that from somewhere else.
I want to preorder so I get that cloth map though. I'll have to find a better reason to convince my parents though.

If I had more money I would but meh right now I'm happy with the PC version and when the price drops I'll pick up the PS3 version.

The only thing I like about the preorders are the Making Of (Game) DVDs. I like seeing what all the developers went through to create the game.

I wish I had the money to buy the collectors edition because I drool over Dragon statues.Have like 20 handmades in my room already from previous birthdays.
Unfortunately with a failing computer in serious need of an upgrade and an expensive job (photography) my funding, as limited as it is, has to be focused elsewhere.
I think it's weird that they made it so expensive just because of the statue though. It's a fricking 150 euro's. Fallout NV's was only 70...........except they didn't release one on PC which made sure I couldn't get one in the end. :sadvaultboy:

By the way, when I read the topic title I had a completely different view of the word 'rim' .... but that could be my perverted mind talking.

Nope, not worth the price for me. I find statues and stuff to be a bit tacky, so all I want is the art book, and no doubt I'll find it on eBay at some point.

I don't have 90 bucks to spend on a book and statue.

If the CE was like 99.99, I would save up and invest. But 150?! Nada

This. I can't justify spending and extra $90 for a dvd and a statue.

Planned on it but nope.. its not the $150 that bothers me even though its well above standard CEs, its just the stuff it comes with doesnt warrant $150. I already own a dragon sculpture, and the only thing that appeases me at all is the map which comes with the other editions.

This sounds convincing enough.
