Is crytek even going to update anticheat?

Post » Sat Aug 20, 2011 3:46 pm

I think its almost officially the same as when the game started. Though that could be because a bunch of cheaters are following me for laughs, how old are these children?

-Instant kill hack is back, yay
-infinite speed
-infinite energy
-nocliping
-unlimited ammo
-aimbot
-and probably a wallhack of someshort

>.> hopefully crytom will ask the crydevelopers for an update of the cry-anticheat. I think 80% of these people are using a cracked version of the game.

Between patches 1.6-1.9 there was quite a good run with lower numbers of hackers.

Lets see if I press the service button

add hacking modules(hackers have all modules) and hacking support bonuses (hackers have ceph gunship with 0 kills; hackers have max. nanosuit on evac zone, etc.) :P
and crytek said they would be a new patch if the cheating starts being almighty.
btw, there was no patch 1.6, only 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 and 1.9

I pressed the service button on your post too. Its best use seems to be not to report what I dont want to hear, but to report what they dont want to hear. Thats if they haven't just sent the output to a dummy box; it would fit what is becoming known as their Style.

On topic: I was having fun when these HAHAHA types started coming back. The little nametag/infinite ammo twits never bothered me much, but those paid megahackpacks just bring out the worst in what is now the Crysis 2 experience. I wish someone at Crytek (Cevat) would grow a pair.

Are you starting to see the light, now that you have your head out of Crytek's ass? I've been telling everyone all along, but nobody listened to me. All of you just flame me for cheating only because I was exposing the truth. You can even say I was working undercover if you want to. The truth has been exposed in a broad way a long time ago.

My only mission was to find the truth. You can apologize to me if you want to and we can start over.

You never manage to read what I say. Someone claiming to be 'working undercover' did pass me large list of cheaters, and if that was you, I apologise and thank you. I am slowing verifying and adding them to my ban list, for what its worth. Though it was a bit depressing that there were three names on there I didn't completely expect.

I've told you repeatedly that I didn't deny that there were cheaters, just at the time there were not as many. Its quite obvious that what ever cheats they are using have now become common again. Anti cheat needs to be updated at least once a month :/. I've also repeatedly said that crytek's anti cheat measures need fixing, updating and improvement. I also didn't flame you for cheating, I seriously think you have me mixed up with another person that did in fact constantly flame you.

Its more a matter of timing. Whilst crytek was updating the cheat protection, the number of cheaters had vastly declined. It was only when they left the game alone for more than a month that the proverbial **** hite the fan.

You were accusing absolutely everyone of cheating at a time when the number of people cheating was relatively low o.O. In any game there is a cycle, anticheat is patched, all cheats do not work for a while, then the start appearing again 2-4 weeks later, then another few weeks later they become common again.

In case you skipped over my post yet again:

I've told you repeatedly that I didn't deny that there were cheaters, just at the time there were not as many. Its quite obvious that what ever cheats they are using have now become common again. Also there appears to be a large percentage of pirate players using cheats, which again as I have said is crytek's fault for not stopping them cracking their game.

you know what would blow my mind, if it turned out that some of the people releasing cheats were the disgruntled ex-crytek staff that were dismissed or left because of EA. I can see them having a proper reason to hate the game.

last week I moved from local asia server to DDD server, I can see my record was improving significantly. myself is pretty good cs player, nice shooter. but get **** in the asia server for 4 months !!!!!!!!whatever I tried, dodging, keep running, shooting from the back, never reveal myself unless i got a must-kill chance, nothing helped. the kill ratio was always around 0.8. sometime i couldnt even get a single kill. but now i can be dominant on ddd server! i didn't change rig, the same pc, mouse, keyboard, same person, of course no **** hack, even with 250+ ping, ****, i got my 8/13 mvps on the classic server, 1 in crash site, i dont believe i was playing with noobs, 50lv noobs? impossible, they are just normal player,

then i recall the kill-cams on the asia servers, I have to say the asia servers are full of hackers, the kills were impossible or abnormal, someone even told me he was top 5 in the world, always get kills with 1 single shot, even if i has full energy in armor mode, the top 50 players are all crowded in asia? you **** kidding me?

crysis 2 mp attempt is epic, but keep the game stay from cheaters isn't server admin's responsibility, and these hacks such as tag hack can't even be detected by the server admin, put more effort on anti-cheat software please crytek, doing nothing will ruin the game.

Well there could have been cheaters, depending on when it was ( a month ago there were hardly any, this week theres a decent number, though there are eight repeat offenders trying to clear out servers). Killcam is probably pretty poor for detecting cheaters, its heavily affected by connection lag and server side lag.

On the Australian internode (low pings, high packet loss, yay) servers, sometimes the packet loss goes crazy and it looks like everyone is speed hacking unless you actually follow them and you can see they are going at normal speed o.O. Hit detection also goes stupid sometimes on those servers :(.

At the moment the problem is that the anti cheat needs an update :/ admins can ban people but 80% of cheaters are pirate players who can just change their name/generate new player id's.

You are mistaken. I do not rat people out nor did I give you a list of cheaters. I am incognito while testing in the game and will not reveal myself or anyone else in the game who divulges information pertaining to exploits. I have the balls to admit there are many flaws in the Crytek anti-cheat system and it is proven in my thesis. The only reason I bother to inform the public in the forums of these issues is because I like Crysis 2 in general and think it svcks this game has been "DECIMATED" (DLC pun).

I've told you repeatedly that I didn't deny that there were cheaters, just at the time there were not as many. Its quite obvious that what ever cheats they are using have now become common again.

Again, the only thing you and many others on this forums are guilty of is denial. You have repeatedly insisted there are practically zero hacks since the latest available C2 patches. The epidemic of hackers in this game are worse than the plague and is a bigger problem than you can apparently phantom.

Anti cheat needs to be updated at least once a month :/. I've also repeatedly said that crytek's anti cheat measures need fixing, updating and improvement. I also didn't flame you for cheating, I seriously think you have me mixed up with another person that did in fact constantly flame you.

Your defense mechanism is semi-amusing, but the fact remains. I don't think Crytek gives a flying fu*k anymore because EA has already paid them. It is highly unlikely they will support this game with updates every month. We will be very lucky see a 2.0 patch and that in itself will probably be the last one ever, if at all. They will undoubtedly be focusing on C3 or other ventures and never look back. If you recall Crytek's narcissistic remark about the game being perfected and the DX11 patch was a gift to us all, you'd realize this is a business and nothing in the real world is really free.

In case you skipped over my post yet again:

In case this wasn't clear the first 1000 times, let me repeat this yet again:

There are indeed severe problems that needs to be addressed. I can honestly say I paid for the game. Being blackballed by a certain admin on this forum for unjust banishing and the infamous 'ban list' that is sent out to other C2 admins because he is prejudice towards other individuals has caused revolt leading to the discovery of information that has crippled Crytek's integrity. It's a real shame nobody listened or gives a fu*k about their customers.

This is probably my last transmission here due the inevitable flaming trolls that will be reunited soon. I think you're an OK guy, BE. To the rest of the trash in this forum who can't comprehend the effort I put into this, it was not for the glory of being a status whore, to gloat that I was cheating, or for monetary gain of any kind. The truth is that this game is Swiss cheese. And, in the end, I may be the one you hail as a hero for exposing the truth.

For now, a good approach to tackle cheaters is to get your own server and add them to ban list.
i see tons of empty Australian servers. only 2 or 3 are populated. you can get yours populated if u maintain it well.
no point crying. crytek doesn't give a ****. not many server admins are active. so yea, nothing will stop the cheaters from ruining the game.
