I can't load any maps in Sandbox 3

Post » Sat Aug 20, 2011 5:25 am

So I downloaded Sandbox 3 yesterday and I started fooling with it today. When I click on file>open>(map name) it won't load the map. I've tried about 5 maps, but none of them will load. It will close the window with all of the maps, but then it won't change. I can make a new map and fool with that, but I can't open a map from any of the levels. Above the console there's a message that says:

CShaderManBin::ParseBinFX_Technique_Pass_LoadShader: SHDataBuffer has been exceeded (buffer=9000, count=9250). Adjust buffer size to remove unnecessary allocs

Maybe that could have something to do with it. Thanks!

I've had this problem too, and what I've found is that you should make a new map first, and then load a map. Hope this helps!

You have to run the Sandbox editor as administrator

Just go to your install directory c/program files/electronic arts/crysis? Rename the Crysis2? to only Crysis2 and it will work. Had the same problem.
