Tactical Tuesday - SDub's New Series!

on the other hand,,, you say you move your mouse a huge amount (you said some number in inches but darned if my brain can recall or convert it into cm) to do a 360 don't you then need to have it over NW so you can push it all the way over to the E to do that 360 turn with your low sensitivity settings? You don't want to be lifting it in the middle of a close up dance with a shotty user.

or get an even bigger mouspad and grow longer arms o.0

Well the issue arises when someone appears on the left side of me, and I move my mouse and I hit my keyboard. Centering it is really the best idea. I could turn right and got like 270 degrees instead of 90 to the left, but that's just silly!

Doesn't matter, different people prefer different settings. Does reducing graphics effects increase awareness I wonder?
The mouse video thing should be in the top left corner, you don't really need the chat window

generally yes it does, because that means less or no motion blur, less special effects, and objects etc etc, and makes it easier to see your opponent.

Yeah, I have several console commands that give the game better fluidity and help me see better on darker maps.

This makes me wonder how much different resolutions might affect perceived hit box size or other play elements... For example, does the game fudge it in your favor if you cant make out the detail of a distance shot?

@CH4NCE: It sounds like you might be describing aim assist, but I don't think there is any kind of system like you described. If you could manually set your resolution, someone might be able to test it and like do a resolution of 1920 X 500, so it's REALLY stretched, and then trying to shoot someone on the very edge of their body. Since the game doesn't allow for odd resolutions I think that it isn't a problem, though.

@CH4NCE: It sounds like you might be describing aim assist [...]What I was getting at is if higher resolution is always better if the game might correct in your favor at lower resolution. Something along the lines of "Man, I switched to 1024x768 and I was nailing distance targets like mad!" or, "Its weird, but my accuracy goes up when I change to from 1920x1080 to 1600x900!". More of a game-mechanics question?

lol poor man's aim assist.

EDIT: on re-reading I see that you got what I was getting at. TY for the reply
