Should 'deleting unwanted spells from your inventory' be a k

Post » Sat Aug 20, 2011 6:05 pm

Oblivion did not gave us the option to delete unwanted/no longer needed spells from our inventory, and thus cluttering up the whole thing.

What do you think: Should this be made possible in Skyrim? -_-

That problem has been solved in the new spell system: you just collect spell effects and they'll get stronger when you lvl up (just like weapon skills). So no more weak fireball in your menu when you?e lvl 70.

That's truely awsome, but I did not start this topic to talk about the (great) Mod's people make for Oblivion

The ability to delete spells woul be good or at least the ability to organise them better to fit your needs would be good.

I was talking about the spell system in Skyrim. It has undergone a great overhaul since Oblivion. It will certainly have some new flaws, but old complaints, such as cluttered up spell books and creating "new" spells that are actual similar to previous ones, have been taken care of.

It's a different system. I doubt this will be necessary.

Surely if we have unwanted spells, all we need to do is leave them off the favourites list.

It was a horrible oversight in Oblivion. Unless there's a good reason for not needing it in Skyrim, like being able to separate the outdated spells from the useful spells easily with the favourites system, they'd be stupid to forget it again.

Okay, lets hope that will indeed be the case :celebration:
