Where does armor wind up when starting OWB?

(I am always wary of spoiler type info)
Spoiler
This may be a real silly question, but like the title suggests, I cannot figure out where the armor I was wearing has gone off to after I started OWB. Anyone know where it ends up? I didn't even get the dialogue event with the Think Tank that mentions my "skin" at the beginning.

All the posts I had read stated that I should bring everything and anything with me, so I was using the portable tent mod when I left for Big MT and had it equipped as the backpack option. I am sure I can find a reasonable replacement for the armor around around the MT, but all of my courier's worldly possession were tied to that tent.

I could always start from an old save, but I would rather avoid the hour long Think Tank MPD dialogue. Do I need to find a specific personality module or is it perhaps a little further along in the game that I find it?

It should just be in your inventory.

My combat helmet stayed on whilst the Armor was just replaced with the gown.

It's not in your inventory? That's where my Assassin's Suit wound up.

The above two posts are correct. You keep your inventory after starting OWB.

No, unfortunately both the recon armor I was wearing and the camping gear is nowhere to be found in my inventory. Perhaps just an unlucky effect of starting with a pre-OWB mod installed. Thanks for the help anyway.

Yeah, try again without the mod, and I'm 99% sure it will work fine.

I would just bring a companion to the midnight showing. Open up the backpack and take everything you need out and give the backpack to your companion. Fire him/her and then you can travel to OWB with all of your junk. :)

Yeah, I went back and started from my last save pre-OWB. I hadn't gotten far so it wasn't too bad. I didn't do anything different really, just unequipped the backpack apparel before I made the jump. Both items were there in the inventory like you all said. Thanks :)
