hi to everybody- fisher here :)

ok so ive made this thread because i think it will get some huge feedback, please post- also tell me your personal exsperiance of that guild- good and bad :P

persoanlly my fav guild would have to be the mages guild- its the university which really entices me, but also theperks for becomeing arch-mage, like the robes, and his room+ chest and librays and speelmakeing and echanting! ( though frostag spire sort of ruined the advantage of that!)

Fighters' Guild.

I liked it the most because the people in the guild made it feel like we were an actual group. Unlike DB, with everybody making me feel like a radical cultist bent on slaughtering the innocent.......

Dark Brotherhood.

I prefer the concept of the mages guild, but it was poorly implemented in Oblivion. I think there was too much emphasis on your character stopping the typical caricature bad guys. Morrowind had a much more realistic approach of making you fetch books and get ingredients to rank up.

But the Dark Brotherhood was just fun fun fun all the way through :hubbahubba:

Dark Brotherhood

Best written questline and most interesting characters.
I personally don't like the mages guild because you can actually complete it without using magic. In the DB there are lots of incentives to be stealthy.

My character is a mystic archer and identifies with the MG more than any other guild. It is like a family to her.

Hey flowerbloom THANK YOU for including a "can't decide" slot. I can never choose just one favorite. So yup. That's me, the only "can't decide" vote. ;)

Lothran is Warlock in the Mages Guild so there goes our vote. He likes it because of the benefits and excitement of magic and alchemy. Oh, and because his favorite little elf is a member too

I would vote for the Mages Guild and the Fighters Guild. Since there is only one option I voted for the Fighters Guild.

The reason in both cases is the questline. And also the type of people.

In particular, I like the change in attitude of your fellow Fighters Guild members as you advance. You start of "dumber that something I scraqed off the bottom of my boot" and having people snickering about your "rat" job, to them really starting to respect you at the mid point. The Arena does that too, but that's really only Owyn. With the DB you're instantly "loved" with the Mages Guild they're weird - the professors never really respect you even as Arch Mage, and that dorky Guard still calls you the "newest addition".

I think the Fighters Guild has some nice twists in the storyline too.
