Trophies and comparisons?

Post » Tue Aug 23, 2011 4:33 am

I doubt it, since this is not an online game.
But will there be a service that enables it to compare your character up against your friends' game characters, in skyrim? through a system like the trophy colection on the ps3. or within the game like on GT5. which shows what level your friends are, exploration data, race They play and etc.
I think it's a bit of fun to compare my game character towards others'. i'm sure i'm not the only one..?

And do we know anything if it's going to be thropy's in the game? it was in FO but not inn OB, so I wonder. And how many and which thropy's it possible will find in the game on the PS3 & 360, and will this feature even be on the PC version too some way, or is it going to be removed?

[sorry for bad english, should have paid more attention in school] o_O

I do not know about the viewing stats deal, but Skyrim is gonna use Steam, so I would assume there are gonna be achievements.

They should implement it through a TU if they can, I'd love to see how I'm stacking up against. And it'd be a good feeling knowing your character looks badass compared to theirs

Well I don't know about PS3 but the XBOX let's us view what our friends are doing, and we have a full feature that let's us compare achievments with anyone and it's governed by the dasboard and guide system, not ingame

Achievements have been confirmed by Bruce Nesmith here: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1197596-skyrim-qa-with-lead-designer-bruce-nesmith/

Q: What’s your approach with the achievements/trophies this time? They’ve come a long way since Oblivion and Bethesda have already proved with Fallout 3 that they’ve changed with the times. Is there a science to it or is it what makes sense at the time of developing it?

A: Listen to the players. We have far more achievements and trophies dedicated to general gameplay. Players really like those; Fun things like amassing a lot of gold, serving time in a prison, finding a large number of dungeons, or find a daedric artifact will all get you an achievement/trophy. Of course we still have a substantial number of achievements dedicated to progress through the quest lines too.

EVRY game for PS3 have Thropys too.. almost though.. Oblivion dosn't..
But i really like to have a system that let me look at my friends aktive character. like on OB and FO let u operate with many characters for difrent saves.
that's why in games like GT5 (gran turismo 5) on the PS3 only let you have ONE profile, that way it allowes you tu see the progress your friends made within the game. So for it to work on skyrim you only can have one save game. Or they have to make a system that allows it to uppload only the most aktive profile or the last aktive, maby.

I can imagine a system that allows you to look up at the sky the same way as one enters the perks. where you have an alternative cold gods, where you can see the progress of your friends. and based on what level you are so one is divided into different groups of gods.
