I thought the made Bows take longer to shoot? To the point wherre its not much of a use in one-on-one combat

I foresee much terrain exploitation in the future of stealth characters.

I know its a videogame but you've got to be one pathetic dragon to let someone wearing heavy armor and carrying heavy weapons take you down. But anyway, I'll be a stealth character and I actually havent thought about this but the fun part will be deciding how to take them down.

I assume making a bow take longer to fire would make it less ideal for MANY-on-one combat.

When the dragon is in the air, a bow would only be second to magic as the best way to down them.

With a dagger, go for the flanks. Get behind them and stab him (or her) in the ankles.

Take advantage of your environment. By which I mean, find a place where the dragon's foot gets stuck in a rock due to a clipping error. It's how my character Raize won a near hopeless fight with a giant radscorpion in Fallout : New Vegas at one point :P .

I agree; something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMjkfZ3q8tE definitely seems like the most efficient approach.

i can only hope :hubbahubba:

i will run and shoot and find cover where i can, use the few destruction spells my assassin will have, and use my long swords when its time to get close.

even if i do make a "pure thief" type character he will still have a long sword for backup.

eh, shoot it with arrows till it crash lands then stab it with a dagger?

I guess the use of ranged dragonshouts as well

Who know, some towns might have built in ballistas that the guards/you can use?

A dragon hunter cannot really avoid killing dragons.

Stealth is not a viable option in the main quest. Stealth gameplay refferes to thieve/assassin roleplays only.

If you're going to be stealth the whole game you're going to need something that compliments that style. You need summons and companions to fight the dragon head on while you skulk and fire.

Well I doubt that a dragon's going to eat a poisoned apple, but I think the stealth characters will manage somehow.
