Why i still get Low fps on Brink?? ( 15-20 ) not sure.

my laptop should run it fine, i downloaded the thing that SD said that will fix the upcoming brink problems ( AMD Catalyst 11.5a hotfix ) it did nothing at all !

Please guys help me if there is a way on fixing it, and should i upgrade my ATI to 11.5? Or maybe there is another way.

O_O they have not come out with a fix for ati problems sadly nice labtop btw 15-20 fps is a lil better then 4-6fps :brokencomputer:

because maybe they are missing a few codes in the game or alot for ati cards. sum people are lucky and able too run the game right out the box

Damn, how could they do this to us, it is like they only care about the money, not making a good game for all players.
Like what black ops did, after getting all that money from us, they never bothered fixing the lag for the PC players.

yes i guess they dident bother too test it on sum normal pcs too start with just high end and slaped ATI on the back of the box and dident put loaded with problems with for patches :brokencomputer:

This is the last time for me Buying a game from SD if they didn't fix this problem with in 2 days.

Hey there Aiken, I'm new here and I have not yet decided if I want to buy this game but... I do own the same ASUS G73 as you!

You should really buy a AirCan and spray in the ventilation (to the right back) and this should be done every 6 months at least.
Why? Because dust can be caught in there (especially if you got cats, dogs with alot of furr) and this will bring your ASUS G73 temperature up and may result in bad performance.

I do have experience with Crysis 2, playing that on very high details and I don't have any real frame rate problem.
But yet again, I do have no experience with Brink but Crysis 2 is very graphical heavy game so if that game runs smooth I would guess Brink should too.

I don't have any better tip for you then to buy a AirCan and spray, make sure you read the informartion on the can before you spray!

By the way, don't be so quick to jump the gun and blame the developers, many did the same with Crysis 2 but something simple as a AirCan solved my problem.
And I'm sure they are doing their very best with fixing anything that is broken.

Man, you really don't know anything about Brink. I run Crysis 2 fine with no problems, but Brink tricked us, the game is full of bugs and the one i have is Low fps due to the game not the PC.

And i have an AirCan and i use it one a week to clean my laptop with it.

Well, that's obvious as I said I didn't have the game Brink. I did only try to be helpful here.
