It would somewhat bland to see the next game set in a desert wasteland whether it was naturally occurring as in the Mojave or artificially created by nukes as in the case of Washington, DC.

Now it might require a few a tweaks to the backstory, seeing how all of the Vaults are in the US (and at most North America).

But if the story can be worked out, I would like to see the next game set in a jungle although mutated by radiation. Candidates are the Amazon and the Congo!

Think about all the new creatures we could fight!

In the Amazon we could have mutated vampire bats and even bigger anacondas! As for the Congo,... intelligent... apes.

Now I know there will be some issues seeing how transitioning from a flat sparse desert to a dense tropical region require new tactics.

But I want to see what you think of the idea.

No, Fallout is about America after the Great War, it has been established lore for many games that only the US and maybe newly annexed Canada have Vaults, and that game would probably stop me from buying any new game Bethesda makes for the rest of my life.
