Nuka Cola

I was thinking what would happen if Bethesda or someone else decided to get involved with a soft drink company and release Nuka Cola, as well as selling the Nuka Cola Machine as we see in Fallout 3.

It obviously has the Coca-Cola colors of red and white, and the drink itself doesn't really say either way other than from the colors. But when you look at Nuka Cola Quantum, then the idea of Pepsi comes into play since Pepsi has been the more adventurous of the two companies when it comes down to experimenting with different colors in their products. Coke has pretty much just been brown in color, or maybe a little lighter or darker brown depending on it being Cherry or Vanilla flavored. Pepsi on the other hand had made Crystal Pepsi which tasted the same but was clear. On top of that, the biggest example for being in favor of Pepsi is Pepsi Blue, which made it's product an almost neon blue coloring.

Pro-Coke:
1) Brand Color Theme (red and white).

Pro-Pepsi:
1) Quantum Coloring

Just wanna see how other people feel. :)

Coca Cola was more popular in 50's, so I believe that Nuka is based on it.

Yeah, and "Nuka-cola" kind of sounds like "Coka-cola". Maybe it's possible that, in the fallout universe, the Coka-cola company realized that the U.S. public was becoming obsessed with the concept of nuclear war, so they changed their products name to appeal to the customers. Is that possible?

There is an implicit reference to Coca-Cola when it changed formula. Nuka-Cola having its formula changed from the original, found no one liked it and everyone hated it and so they changed it back and called it Nuka-Cola "classic" to increase profit. Pepsi-Cola has never called itself "classic" because it was a rip off of Coke. In this timeline it seems monopolies were allowed and Nuka-Cola I guess bought the other two and took their place, with Nuka-Cola "classic" and the Nuka-Cola Quantum, an experimental drink that neither failed nor succeeded.

Okay..well seems overwhelmingly in favor of Coca-Cola. So who is gonna draw up the petition to send to Bethesda and Coca-Cola to make it happen? :P
