in the information it says there are no birthsigns, however i watched a video were it said there was and it was changeable during the game

No birth signs is under the Character Generation section, so that is correct, but so are you, birth signs are in the game in a way. I don't like that they call it birth signs though, as you shouldn't be able to change your birth sign. ;)

Thanks for the transcript, BootySweat! :)
I love this part.^^
SV: French metal, that's all you need to know. I love how there are all these people in the chatroom saying all these questions that have been asked before. Yet, we've asked what, ten of the questions that were in the forums that have never been answered before?

PH: Wait a minute, are you trying to tell me that we've done what they've asked and they're not happy? I have to say in the 12 years I've been at Bethesda, this is the first time that has ever happened. That is so weird. I was gonna go to the forums but then I got sidetracked

No fat people, again. Add it to the list :)
2) What sorts of cosmetic options, like beards, tattoos, or body proportions, are available? Can we edit them later in the game?
Matt:
There is large amount of customization available for each race. You can choose from multiple hair styles, beards, scars, and face paint. Each race and gender has a light and heavy build and you can pick any level in between. We’ve completely redone our facial system, and we’re really excited to show off the results.

Confirmed due to the fact that we've seen both the heavy and light types of bodies in the preset character screens.

There is no hardcoe mode.
There are no Arenas like it was in Oblivion.
There's no locational damage.
There's no Necromancer faction.

This is disappointing :/ Waiting for mods to fix things I guess. Why couldnt Bethesda try to improve things before axing them? And why couldnt they add great features that would be pretty easy to do.

You're thinking about the new stones that're a bit like doom/rune stones or wayshrines: they're permanent but you can only have one affecting you at a time. The 3 we saw were somehow linked to improving your growth rate with magic, stealth, or combat skills. There may only be those 3 or there may be others.

There's no Necromancer faction.

To be precise, there is no "Necromancer guild."

He talks about that there are four "main factions" and then there are smaller groups, and the Necromancers could be one of these smaller groups - hopefully at least they are not automatically hostile, mindless enemies, but rather some sort of possibility of dialogue options and maybe even some quests involving this group.

"Necromancers - yes, there are Necromancers in the game. The four main factions - four main factions? Yeah, four "main" is the right way to phrase that because there are some smaller groups that you can see and come across, but the four main factions that you actually join and have stories and stuff related to them are the Warrior's Guild, the Mage's Guild, the Thieves' Guild and the beloved Dark Brotherhood. There is no Necromancer's Guild. That shouldn't be a surprise to anybody. But they're in the game, they do have spells and they are spells that you can find and use."

From the same intreview, it has been confirmed that Lynda Carter is confirmed as a voice actor (and that there will be an announcement for more soon).

True Booty. That's what I meant, but it could be a little confusing, that's right. I'll change it once I get home from school today, along with adding Lynda.

A tip of the ol' fedora Zaldir. Excellent job compiling all of this info into one organized thread.
