Uhh well I can't find my Bethesda Softworks folder...

Post » Fri Aug 26, 2011 1:30 am

I go to C/games and it is usually there. When I search for it in games, it comes up, but I can't find the folder without using the search function. Hope that makes sense.

Did you maybe reinstall it in the past and in the Program Files folder?

Hm weird.

So its not in these files?

(C:) Then (Program Files (x86) Then the name Bethesda.

Did you reinstall it to a different folder? You should see if the search function tells you where the files are located/

Well there are a couple things you can do to determine the install path.

1) Search for Fallout 3, and then when it comes up in the search bar right click on it>click Open File Location.
2) Run Regedit and search through these folders to see the registry to see where its installed: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3

Also did you make sure its not accidentally set to hidden?

Mhmmm... You could try this but it DOESN'T WORK if you installed the game somewhere else. :P
Just open computer and paste this into the address bar thing at the top lol.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks
or
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks

And there should be your Fallout 3 Folder. :D
