Is LR supposed to have unique weather?

Post » Thu Aug 25, 2011 9:47 pm

I would like to know just incase so mods like Nevada Skies does not overlap what I am supposed to expect.

Disable or just leave it?

Thanks!

It sounds like it will. The Divide is described as being ravaged by frequent tornadoes.

Considering it's an area of land plagued by thunderstorms (perhaps Sunderstorms might be more appropriate), tornados, and other meteorological phenomena; there's a 90% probability we'll see some weather.

Speaking of tornados... anyone else see another Wizard of Oz reference? :P

I think it's almost certain it will have weather, I mean we've already seen rain in HH, so dust storms shouldn't be too far fetched. I'm just hoping they'll do something more original than the dust storms in the Mojave (e.g. El Dorado Dry Lake).

Maybe the Dust storms'll be like the Cloud was in the Madre: Killer.
I mean, they could say something like "the sand in the storm rips at the flesh, peeling it from the bone of anyone stupid enough to get lost in them. Slowly wearing down the being until s/he/it is no more." :bolt:

Sounds unpleasant :cryvaultboy:

I posted this on a different topic but I reckon the locals there probably wear protective gear similar to Sand People, and if you wear that kind of outfit or a PA of some sort, you might become immune to environmental hazards.

I swear if everyone in the DLC breaks down into a wonderfully choreographed dance and sings "Jitterbug", then I will rip my game in half. :shakehead:

Certainly a possibility. They added rain with Honest Hearts. Why not add some more?
