Looks like it is time to over-speculate

Post » Thu Aug 25, 2011 7:38 pm

In a thread for Jason Bergman he was asked this question by antisocial21

Did anyone else notice that Mr. Jason Bergman said his favorite New Vegas weapons isn't out YET?!? I have question for you, Mr. Bergman, is it a gun, melee, explosive, or energy weapon? Perhaps a hint, pretty please?

And his reply was this.

It's melee.

Now go crazy!

I think that this discussion is best discussed in the original thread...

Unless you are stabbed by one, then I guess you would be thinking that you are completely screwed.

Awesome, maybe the Cyphers are in the Divide and they make melee weapons to still seem tribal-ish.

They're not stabbing weapons. They're slicing weapons.

Then you are double screwed when you are stabbed by one.

No, just your clothes on your back, and anyways at least it would be a shiny piece of junk.

Unless it's some kind of awesome spork, meh.

Sporks are highly underappreciated and underrepresented in FONV. This is disappointing to me, as it is the undisputed King AND Queen of Cutlery.

Incidentally, I collect sporks (in game, although the drawer under my Microwave has a bajillion and five plastic sporks in the little baggies with a napkin and a butter knife). All your sporks are belong to me!

I've seen a spork with a serrated edge before. Not sure what they called it, though.

I've seen one also, but I'll take a normal knife. Also looks like a challenger approaches. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=spork+with+serrated+edge&um=1&hl=en&sa=X&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&tbm=isch&tbnid=Nntq5BaC3sKV3M:&imgrefurl=http://www.seriouseats.com/2009/02/serious-eats-hq-got-new-sporks.html&docid=P0KBa4uhjzq7sM&w=500&h=356&ei=ZbJVTsvmN8fz0gH6iYXQAg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=820&vpy=234&dur=734&hovh=189&hovw=266&tx=168&ty=146&page=1&tbnh=133&tbnw=177&start=0&ndsp=30&ved=1t:429,r:10,s:0&biw=1280&bih=856. That is also called a spork, but is clearly different.

Yeah, I've seen that before, but I don't consider it a real spork. More of a cheap imitation.

Looks like the blog shows a flaming katana, and a nuka-cola sign. But if I'm not mistaken those come with another dlc.
