I just started rloe playing a monk type character nad need to find a monk's robe to ware.
The robes at Weynon priory have the red hand icon oover them.
I don't want to steal or kill anything as that doesn't fit a monk very well.
Are monk's robes obtainable to ware without stealing them?
If so wear?

IIRC, near the beginning of the MQ, Brother Piner gets killed in the attack and you can take his robe. I don't recall it being marked stolen.

Getting them from Brother Piner would work well for my roleplay.
I was just getting ready to go to Kvatch and start the main quest.

It's not Brother Piner who gets automatically killed. It's Prior Maborel, who wears the black robe. It's a nice zero-weight robe, but it's more of a priest's robe than a monk's.
