The history of the entire Elder Scrolls universe?
Price notwithstanding, the problem is how big would that book be? It'd be endless.
Yeah, this. Plus lore in a video game series is always going to be unstable. Every time a new game comes out, more gets added, things get changed and altered, etc, it's unstable. For example, when we look at Arena and then look at the rest of TES, it's amazing how little lore Arena has, especially considering it has all the provinces. In ten years, we might be looking back at Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, and pointing out how little we knew then. A book would be out of date the moment a new game came out. And then, who's to write it? There's so much to take into consideration, so much is up for interpretation, and the beauty of TES lore is it is written the way real world lore is, it's written by mortals who have their own interpretation of reality and events and they could be wrong.
Regardless, if they somehow for whatever reason DID make a book like this, I'd be willing to pay however much it was.
