Hello, so today my copy of Oblivion just arrived, i searched each every online gaming and non-gaming store in my country to find a available Oblivion copy, and to purchase it. And i find one, the last copy in that store. And the other stores didn't had anymore the game, only on the site. So here is the pic. I bought this copy, in waiting of Skyrim.

However i have a problem, i can't patch the game, when i finished installing it, i had the 0.6 version, i think. So i tried to patch to the last official version, 1.2 and the patch doesn't past processing oblivion.exe
It says: "old file not found however a file of the same name was found"
I need a more "from the past" patch to patch it, and then apply the latest one ?

Make sure you have the http://www.gamesas.com/eng/patches.php, both level and language for your game (you don't have GOTY it seems). Also install the game and patch in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796. If you're still unsuccessful then ask a moderator to move the thread to the H&S forum.

And yeah i don't have the game of the year version, because i didn't find that version. I think i have a very first retail build version.

Also i want to ask you, if i patched the game on 1.2.0414, the latest patch, all the previous fixes in patches are installed ?

PS: Also if you want a game with that atmosphere, try dracula 3 the parth of the dragon, it's a point and click game.
