I would convince someone else to pay for it and to upload some videos on YouTube. So, while I think they should totally release one, I wouldn't buy it, just reap all the benefits.

EDIT: Aside from which, my PC svcks and probably wouldn't be able to run it if I did pay.

Dragon Age origins did this (for free) and I loved creating characters.
