I just became the grandmaster... but cant get any writs..

Ive checked the guilds in balmora and ald ruhn and they have nothing.

according to uesp I should have 4 more writs.

anything else I need to do? I retired the previous grandmaster.

To get the Grandmaster Writs the Main Quest must be completed.

thats unfortunate.

Any reason for this?

Some of the targets may be needed for the MQ if you do the Hortator part.

I thought you only have to have those objects of assassinations as topics, and the Masters will give you the quests. I guess it's Sadrith Mora for Therana, Balmora for Larrius, etc...

Actually, I think there are a few more quests after beating the main quest in which you must kill house leaders and then the morag tong grand master.
