I just read Trapped, I think it was called, and now my character has a deep drive to wipe the Vampire Clans from Vvardenfell. Painfully.

However, most of the informaton i've found only helps on -becoming- a Vampire. Not paticularly on finding them and DESTROYING THEM ALLL!>!>>!>... ahem, sorry.

Can you gain access to their bases in any way without beng a Vampire? And will they, including important NPCs, be there? I've never really played through Morrowind so i'm not even sure they have a base at all. I've only even run into a single Vampire and that was supposed to be for a Temple quest.

*Sigh* Never mind, I just seem to be full of stupid questions these days. Found the lairs described on the UESP.

Make sure you carry plenty of Cure Common Disease potions if you're going to make Vvardenfell vampire-free. The three clans are also pretty tough, the leader of one of them wears a full suit of Glass, so be prepared for a fight. There's a whole bunch of rogue vampires scattered about, those'll be harder to track down, even with UESP at your disposal.

You'll find them also in tombs (Sarethi tomb at North of Dagon Fel etc.). I really don't remember where I found them. Just killed them. But be really prepared for the Clans of Vampires. They are tough.

If you want to get rid of all vampires, you'll have to visit each tomb, dwemer ruins, etc. Good luck. :wink_smile:
