I downloaded dead money and honest hearts but they won't work together! I've got the latest update so honest hearts works but the weird thing is that I can get all the dead money perks and workbench recipes but I don't get the first quest

The two DLCs are not technically related to each other and should not cause each other issues.

You'll have to be more specific here buddy. What system, let's start with that.

I am not sure what you mean they will not work together. They play at different times, and can't be played together. When you start either DM or HH, you have to complete them before you can more on to the other or any other NW quest.

Also, are you starting a new game or using you current character? What platform are you using? It shouldn't make a difference either way though. Are you sure you have the requirments to get those perks? Do they even show up when you level up?

Maybe unintalling and reinstalling it, could help.
