New vegas plug-ins

Post » Sun Aug 28, 2011 6:18 am

I was thinking, since we're getting great new toys (thank you obsidian :celebration:) why not have a new home we can get to compliment the weapons. Bethesda did it with oblivion and they sold so im guessing it would with new vegas too, especially if its as good as the wizard's tower. They could make each inspired by either NCR, legion, Vegas, or the wasteland and add a few more food items or apparel and set it at around $2 each, and make a bit more money before finishing new vegas for good. :hubbahubba:

You mean you want DLCs like Horse Armor?

I say, save all the money and put it to make Lonesome Road truly epic. Yes it's PC elitism speaking here.

And of course my eternal rule, if it involves the Enclave, it's good.

if it was just a plain new home with nothing to offer you? no thank you we already have a lot for example the lucky 38, novac hotel, any of the safe houses, the abandoned BoS bunker (every three days you get enough chips for a lot of supplies), many of the caves in zion, ulysses point, and the sink (the sink pretty much gives you everything you want and need really)

As Mr. Bergman kindly pointed out earlier, " if you want a house, get OWB".

OP, OWB was supposed to satisfy any "Player Housing" needs for the game. If you don't like the SINK however (which is ridiculous because the SINK is [censored] awesome) then you'll just have to stick with any player housing in Vanilla.

We should be grateful that we got more DLC than just LR. I doubt they would release another.

I would prefer Companion add ons that offered you companions that had a side quest, and where integrated as a slide in the end.

Except for the fact that Companions can't be sent there

Ok, ok maybe i went overboard. :talk:
I am grateful for the sink, its just my thirst for the housing that the ulta-luxe penthouse put in me and my lack of a capable pc that i could play nv on and mod to my heart's content :sadvaultboy:
The strip changed me.... :flame:
and there are alot of vanilla places if im just going to complain and you guys made me realize the value of the sink, so my apologies

Doubt it...

The place is ruined, Bergman or whatever his name is, said we would have to be satisfied by the 'Sink'.

I am satisfied, grant it, i want a new place to be able to send companions to other then the lucky 38, but i got over it.

I'm sure they'll be okay having that VIP suite all to themselves :spotted owl:

Probably not something intentional as a player house, but something that the player could inhabit if he/she chose to. I'm sure they would do something like that.

The Sink is great and all, but I'd say the Abandoned Brotherhood Bunker is also a great home for the player on the go.

True, that is the sink's main imperfection. I forgot to mention that Harper's Shack makes a good home as well. I use that to store a lot of my gear because I can fast travel directly to the front door and go there without having to fire my companions.

It's my house right now, and is only one loading screen. :)

I don't need a house DLC. The Sink does that just fine.

What I want is a dungeon DLC. I've said it before, the main flaw with New Vegas is the poor sandbox/unguided exploration. The reason NV's sandbox gameplay is poor is because it doesn't have enough dungeons to explore and enemies to shoot.

A dungeon DLC would rectify this.

I hate long dungeons unless the loot is good. Unique weapons, armors, a unique brick, hell it doesnt matter. if it's rare, it's going in my home.
