Giving armour?

Hi, first of all I'm new here, decided to look for a TES forum because despite having finished the game over 20 times, I recently started the first playthrough without cheats.

So, one of my Knights of the Nine, the Imperial one (can't remember his name ATM), well I took him to Pale Pass, needless to say his armour didn't last much against the ogres. After killing 20 ogres or so (whatever number of them you meet before you get to the snowy part before the ruins, after the Serpent's Trail) he stopped wearing the armour because the condition was at 0 and now he's on his casual clothes. What I would like basically is a console command to give him back his items, or just spawn him when he first joins the order. I tried pickpocketing the items, repairing them, then dropping them on the floor, putting them on the chest next to his bed, nothing worked.

Thanks in advance.

See the contradiction here? :whistling:

If your going to use the console to give him armour then you may aswell use the zero weight Daedric 'reverse pickpocket glitch'

It sounds like you don't need a cheat, just a repair hammer...

...unless you can't repair NoTN armour? I'm not familiar with it you see.
I thought you said you weren't cheating?

That's cheating? Unless they're using the console to turn themselves into a minor god, or just adding free items that they intend to keep for themselves, I don't see it as cheating.

Bring up the console and click on the dude.

Type (without quotes) "removeitem " (base IDs are here for KOTN stuff: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Knights_of_the_Nine_Cuirass#Unenchanted_Armor )

Do that for each piece of armor that needs to be replaced (to save time typing after you do it once just hit the up arrow and edit the base ID)

After that you have to add all of it again. type "additem " (same up arrow trick to save typing all of it over)

Then you need him to equip it. Type "equipitem "

Then to keep if fair (or not, your call) you can remove some repair hammers from your inventory.
