I installed my 80 GB Intel 320 SSD on my laptop today and after installing TESIII, I couldn't play it. I realized I don't have any C++ Redistributable stuff on my computer. The SSD is completely blank and so there are no software programs on it.

What do I need to download to get Morrowind running? The only thing I can think of is that C++ thing.

You need an OS, Morrowind, the MSVC runtimes (8 or 9, 32-bit) and the DirectX 9.0c full redistributable.

You can find the necessary links in the OP of the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1204129-morrowind-graphics-extender-mge/ and install both of them. This http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 is required if you want to read the TES CS help file on Vista or Windows7.
